Getting Started

What age groups do you serve? +

We work with players in 5th-8th grade (roughly ages 10-14). This is a critical developmental window for basketball fundamentals and character building.

Do I need basketball experience to join? +

No! We accept players at all levels — from complete beginners to competitive athletes. Our coaches assess each player and create personalized progression plans. Everyone is welcome.

How do I sign up? +

Visit our member portal, create an account, and select your program. You'll complete registration and payment in about 5 minutes. Our team will reach out within 24 hours to welcome you and answer any questions.

When are classes scheduled? +

We offer classes during after-school hours (usually 3:30-6:30pm weekdays) and weekend slots. Exact schedules vary by location and season. You'll see all available classes when you log into the booking system.

Coaching & Development

Who are your coaches? +

Our coaches are experienced basketball players and certified youth development specialists. All coaches complete background checks and SafeSport training. Many played college or competitive club basketball and bring that expertise to every session.

What's the player-to-coach ratio? +

Group classes typically have 12-15 players with 2-3 coaches, ensuring everyone gets attention. One-on-one sessions are 1:1. We maintain low ratios so every player develops skills and builds confidence.

What's this "Pyramid Path" system I see mentioned? +

Pyramid Path is our character + skill development system. Players earn digital badges for demonstrating virtues from John Wooden's Pyramid of Success (industriousness, loyalty, cooperation, etc.). Plus they track physical skill milestones. It gamifies development in a way that builds lasting character.

How do you measure progress? +

We conduct quarterly evaluations using video analysis and standardized skill assessments. You'll see detailed reports on shooting accuracy, ball handling, defensive positioning, leadership, and character growth. Progress is tracked over time so you see measurable improvement.

Locations & Scheduling

Where are your training locations? +

We operate in multiple Bay Area communities including Oakland, Berkeley, San Ramon, Palo Alto, Fremont, Livermore, and Cupertino. Each location has dedicated courts and parking. See all locations and class schedules →

What if I need to reschedule or miss a class? +

No problem. You can reschedule or cancel a booking up to 24 hours before class with no penalty. If life gets busy, you can pause your membership for up to 2 months per year.

Parents & Community

Can parents watch classes? +

Yes! Parents are welcome to observe from designated viewing areas. Many find it helpful to see their child's progress firsthand. We also share video highlights and evaluations online.

Are there team opportunities or tournaments? +

Season Pass members get access to special events, clinics, and optional tournament opportunities. We also host quarterly Milestone Night showcases where families celebrate progress. These events build community and let young athletes experience game situations in a supportive environment.

How can parents get involved as volunteers? +

We always need volunteer support for events, equipment management, and community building. Volunteers can also earn credits toward membership. Complete our volunteer application →
